There was a time I used to pray God take the mountains out of my way Lord, if you could make it easy for me I could be all you want me to be But then I found out that’s not His plan He wants me to step up and be a man He’s given me all the tools I need And with Him I will succeed Chorus I want to be…a mountain climber I want every step I take, to take me higher With each challenge I won’t stop Until I reach the top * I want to be…a mountain climber It would be easy to just slip back To get distracted, to get off-track ]I won’t be discouraged or misled But focus on the task ahead I’ve got to run and not be weak Pushing on to reach the peak And though it’s harder when it starts to rain They say no pain, no gain They say don’t climb on your own But with God I’m not alone |  |
